This page outlines the technical details of how Daasity pushes data into TikTok using the Customer File API to build and target custom audiences in TikTok
Overview
The Daasity Audience feature uses the TikTok Customer File API which is comprised of the Update an audience file endpoint which allows you to load a file into TikTok and the Create an audience file endpoint which allows you to build a custom audience using the file that has been loaded. Daasity will call both endpoints to load the generated file from the Audience and then create the custom audience in Tiktok
Update an Audience File
Daasity uses the output from the report / query to generate a file and then loads this into TikTok using this endpoint
Frequency: Daily (available to run On-Demand via the UI)
This endpoint will run automatically when the TikTok Ads target is run
Create an Audience File
Daasity uses the file uploaded via the Update an Audience File to build the custom audience using this endpoint
Frequency: Daily (available to run On-Demand via the UI)
This endpoint will run automatically when the TikTok Ads target is run
