# TikTok GMV Max Campaigns

## Overview

GMV Max is TikTok's automated campaign type for TikTok Shop Ads, designed to maximize Gross Merchandise Value — the total revenue generated through your TikTok Shop. Rather than requiring manual setup of targeting, bidding, or placements, GMV Max uses TikTok's automation to optimize delivery across all available surfaces and attributes all resulting orders, including those from organic and affiliate traffic.

## Campaign Types

Daasity supports two GMV Max campaign types, each appearing separately in your data:

**Product GMV Max** — An automation solution that optimizes for your shop's total non-live GMV. It uses all available creative assets across shoppable placements — including the TikTok feed, search, the TikTok Shop Tab, and Pangle — and attributes all resulting orders, including those driven by organic and affiliate traffic.

**LIVE GMV Max** — An automated campaign that optimizes liveroom traffic to maximize gross revenue for your TikTok Live events. It supports two creative types — Video-to-LIVE and LIVE-to-LIVE — and optimizes for total liveroom ROI.

## How It Appears in Daasity

GMV Max data is accessible in the Channel and Vendor Level Marketing Performance explore in Looker, as well as in the Vendor Reported Marketing Performance dashboards. To isolate GMV Max, filter by:

* Vendor Name: tiktok
* Network Type: product gmv max campaign (for Product GMV Max) or live gmv max campaign (for LIVE GMV Max)<br>

Both campaign types appear under the Paid Search channel alongside your other TikTok ad spend.

## Available Metrics

## A Note on Data Reporting

TikTok provides GMV Max performance data at both the campaign level and product level. Daasity uses campaign-level data as the single source of truth to prevent double-counting across reporting levels.
