# TikTok GMV Max Campaigns

## Overview

GMV Max is an automated **advertising** campaign type from TikTok. It maximizes Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) — total revenue driven through your TikTok Shop — using TikTok's automation to optimize delivery across all placements, rather than manual targeting, bidding, or placement setup. It attributes all resulting orders, including those from organic and affiliate traffic.

In Daasity, GMV Max is **advertising data** — spend and campaign performance — and flows through the **TikTok** integration, not TikTok Shop.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** GMV Max reports advertising performance, not your TikTok Shop order data. For TikTok Shop orders and transactions, see **TikTok Shop** — a separate integration.
{% endhint %}

This page explains how GMV Max campaign data is represented in Daasity, what metrics are available, and what to be aware of when analyzing performance.<br>

## Integration Availability

This data is available for:

* Enterprise

{% hint style="warning" %}

## Enabling GMV Max

GMV Max is not enabled by default. To get started, submit a request to <support@daasity.com> and the dev team will enable it for your account.

## Setup

Once GMV Max is enabled for your account, follow [these steps](https://www.loom.com/share/8eced73e572c4f3393f0cd016cce10b7) to connect it:<br>

1. In Daasity, navigate to **Data** → **Integrations**
2. Click **New Integration** and search for TikTok
3. Configure the integration based on your attribution window and desired reports
4. Click **Authorize Daasity** within TikTok — during this step, ensure GMV Max Reporting is checked
5. Once authorized, you can backfill historical data as needed
6. After the overnight workflow runs, GMV Max data will be available in your Looker Explores and dashboards

## Campaign Types

Daasity supports two GMV Max campaign types, each appearing separately in your data:

* **Product GMV Max** — An automation solution that optimizes for your shop's total non-live GMV. It uses all available creative assets across shoppable placements — including the TikTok feed, search, the TikTok Shop Tab, and Pangle — and attributes all resulting orders, including those driven by organic and affiliate traffic.
* **LIVE GMV Max** — An automated campaign that optimizes liveroom traffic to maximize gross revenue for your TikTok Live events. It supports two creative types — Video-to-LIVE and LIVE-to-LIVE — and optimizes for total liveroom ROI.

## How It Appears in Daasity

GMV Max data is accessible in the Channel and Vendor Level Marketing Performance explore in Looker, as well as in the Vendor Reported Marketing Performance dashboards. To isolate GMV Max, filter by:

* Vendor Name: tiktok
* Network Type: product gmv max campaign (for Product GMV Max) or live gmv max campaign (for LIVE GMV Max)<br>

Both campaign types appear under the Paid Search channel alongside your other TikTok ad spend.

## Available Metrics

**Note:** Clicks and impressions are not available for GMV Max campaigns in Daasity.
{% endhint %}

## A Note on Data Reporting

TikTok provides GMV Max performance data at both the campaign level and product level. Daasity uses campaign-level data as the single source of truth to prevent double-counting across reporting levels.
