# Integration Specifications

SPINS is a syndicated data provider known for its extensive coverage of the Natural Channel and its leadership in natural/organic product attribution. 

The Daasity x SPINS integration offers competitive category information at UPC and category levels, allowing brands to monitor market trends, analyze category performance, and benchmark competitive performance across retailers and regions. The Daasity extract works with all available SPINS data: weekly, quad-week, and aggregated time periods across geographies and product categories.

### **Refresh Cadence**

SPINS data updates every four weeks, typically on the Monday of that week, for a total of 13 data updates per year (this is a standard cadence and practice for all of the syndicated data providers including Nielsen and Circana- although the frequency of data updates may vary by contract). 

After the data has been exported from the SPINS platform or API and uploaded into Daasity, it typically takes less than an hour for the new data to be reflected in your data warehouse and reports.
