# Integration Setup

This page will help you set up Instacart Ads for the first time.

Instacart requires each advertiser to register their own API application. You will create that application in Instacart Ads Manager during setup, so make sure you can log in to Ads Manager with a user that has **API Authentication** enabled and **Read** access to **Customer Insights Reporting**.

## Step 1: Navigate to 'New Integration' screen

In the Daasity app, click **Integrations** in the left-hand menu, and then the **New Integration** button in the upper-right corner.

## Step 2: Choose the Instacart Ads integration

In the search box, type "instacart" and choose the Instacart Ads integration. You can also find it under **Ads & Marketing Spend**.

## Step 3: Name the integration and enter your Advertiser ID

Give the integration a name. This is the name that will be displayed in your integrations list in the Daasity app.

Enter your **Advertiser ID**, which you can find in Instacart Ads Manager, and click **Create**.

## Step 4: Create an API application in Instacart Ads Manager

After you click Create, the integration shows an **Authorize Instacart Ads** section with a **Redirect URI**.

1. Copy the **Redirect URI** from Daasity.
2. In [Instacart Ads Manager](https://ads.instacart.com/), click your profile icon, then **Settings**, then **OAuth**, and create a new API application.
3. Paste the Redirect URI into the application's configuration.
4. Copy the **App ID** and **Secret** that Instacart generates.

## Step 5: Authorize the integration

1. Back in Daasity, paste the **App ID** and **App Secret** into the integration and click **Save**.
2. Return to Instacart Ads Manager and click **Authorize** on the application.

You will be redirected back to Daasity and the integration will activate automatically. The integration then shows "This integration is authorized with Instacart Ads."

## Step 6: Load history

From the integration details screen, expand **Load History Data**, choose a start and end date, and click **Start Loading**.

A history load brings in your spend reports. Campaign, ad group and product details are loaded by the daily update.
